Pre-Screening Protocols and More
Here’s what you can expect for our additional COVID-19 safety precautions:
- At this time, wearing a mask that covers your mouth and nose at all times when not with a clinician in the operatory is at the discretion of the patient.
- The waiting area is wiped down numerous times per day, and we leave our clinic entrance door ajar to limit having to touch the door handle.
Updates on Sterilization and Disinfection
We are very excited about our latest addition to our airflow system to make the air we breathe in the office free of viruses, including COVID-19, VOCs, dust, mold, and bacteria. This is accomplished using our brand new four auto-cleaning needlepoint bi-polar ionization systems(NPBI). All team members must wear a level 3 mask that covers their nose and mouth. Each room is wiped down per the CDC recommendation with disinfecting wipes. Per the CDC and Dane County Public Health recommendations, our hygiene department is taking serious measures to limit aerosol production in their rooms.
Additional PPE and Other Pandemic Patient Safety Changes
We take the recent COVID pandemic very seriously. All team members must wear a surgical mask at all times unless they are eating or drinking. The mask must cover their mouth and nose without exception. Certain procedures require the team to wear an N95 mask. All team members leave their work shoes at the office and change them upon entering and exiting the office. We have a new clean set of scrubs for every team member, and for those involved in patient care, they must leave their worn scrubs to be laundered at the office.
