Missing teeth are due to various types of causes, but if there’s one thing patients want the most, it’s to be able to replace their teeth in a manner that provides quality, aesthetics, and reliability. Dental implants are regarded as the most ideal choice for tooth replacement because of their strength and ability to replace any number of teeth. Implants can be used to support a variety of restorations or prosthesis, from everything including crowns, bridges, and even dentures. The best part is that implants are considered just as strong as our natural teeth, and they are permanent. They’re the closest thing to natural teeth, because the artificial roots help preserve the health of nearby teeth and prevent them from being affected by other types of treatments. Dental crowns can be placed directly on top of implant abutments to replace single missing teeth anywhere in the mouth, as long as there is adequate bone support. Three or four missing teeth can be restored with a fixed implant bridge supported on two implants. Or, as few as four dental implants can support an entire full-arch, permanent denture. Implant dentures offer many benefits over conventional dentures; they are smaller, more comfortable, stay in place permanently, and are easier to eat and talk with. Dr. Andler completes implant treatment start to finish from initial implant root placement to the delivery of the final fixed restoration. We invite you to schedule a complimentary implant consultation with us to determine if you’re a candidate for implants, and which type of implant restoration is best for you. If you’ve had previous implant treatment somewhere else, Dr. Andler also provides implant restoration services to correct broken or missing abutments and restorations as needed.
